I went into an AMAZING store, "Gold Bug" in Pasadena, California, recently and it was truly unique. I found this book there called "Pheromone", showing the insect art of Christopher Marley and this is the cover photo.
On October 10th, 2008 the artist will be signing his book at the Gold Bug store in Pasadena.

Even the State of California admits there is no documented crop losses from the innocent little light brown apple moth (LBAM). Despite this, it is classified as a "Class-A" emergency threat, subjecting millions of us Californians to pesticide showers for no reason whatsoever. Get involved at:

Even the dogs are upset about this LBAM eradication program. This dog was protesting at the Golden Gate Bridge march against the pointless plans to poison us with pesticides to eradicate an innocent moth. Get involved at:

Disgruntle grumblers at the Golden Gate Bridge protest against the pointless plans to poison us with pesticides to eradicate an innocent moth. This kid is especially upset because he and his little brother are more vulnerable to the effects of this spray. They have higher metabolisms, smaller body mass, and play in the places of spray, where they are more likely to ingest and inhale this crap. Get involved at:

Even if you don't have a problem with toxins, the time-release capsules that the LBAM spray is delivered in should be cause for alarm. Get involved at:

My 4 yr. old kid's portrait of an innocent Light Brown Apple Moth (LBAM), made for a march on Golden Gate Bridge yesterday. These moths have been classified as a type "A" emergency threat to our homeland security, despite the lack of documented scientific evidence they cause any more harm to our crops than monkeys or elephants.
Due to this erroneous classification (essentially guilty until proven innocent, without easy access to due process), millions of Bay Area residents are planning to roll over for monthly showers of toxins marked "Keep out of Reach of Children", for who knows how many years. Like the War on Terror, it could be endless, since the plan is to eradicate a moth that entomologists claim can't be completely eradicated. More at:
